On 16 November 2023, at the «Transport of Russia 2023» forum and exhibition, Vodohod.Technologies signed a cooperation agreement with the «Don» passenger shipping company (Rostov region). The agreement supports the development of booking, ticket-payment and other passenger and tourist services.
The ceremony took place at the Don region's exhibit under the slogan «Rostov Region. Launching transport projects». The agreement was signed by «Don» CEO German Lopatkin and Vodohod.Technologies CEO Ilya Sukhovolsky.
From 2024, the «Don» company launches regular passenger water transport in the Rostov region, reviving the sector after a 30-year break. Two «Valday» hydrofoils were acquired; the first routes connect Rostov-on-Don with Volgodonsk, Azov and Taganrog, with prospective routes to Volgograd, Yeysk, Anapa and Kerch.
On the CBS.Small Fleet and VDH.Mobile platforms, a booking, distribution and sales-management system is planned, along with interfaces for individuals and box offices and a range of onboard and shore-side mobile services.
